Mikokos, a sustainable personal care brand offering eco-conscious products made in Puerto Rico, has been selected as one of the 100 most promising sustainability startups of 2025 by Change 100, a global initiative launched by the impact platform We Make Change and supported by leading partners such as Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact, ChangeNOW, and Techstars Sustainability Paris.
Selected from hundreds of candidates worldwide, Mikokos was recognized for its innovative approach to sustainable personal care, reducing single-use plastic and offering vegan and chemical-free alternatives.
Founded in 2020 by Kimberly Ramos, an entrepreneur passionate about sustainability and natural wellness, Mikokos is transforming the personal care sector in Puerto Rico by offering products that promote well-being while respecting the planet.

Winners of Change 100 will gain access to critical resources, support programs, and a global network of over 50,000 remote volunteers, including experts from international companies such as Standard Chartered Bank, PA Consulting, and Grundfos.
The campaign is supported by leading organizations such as Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact, ChangeNOW, and Techstars.
The 100 winning startups were announced at ChangeNOW in Paris on April 25, 2025, the world’s largest event dedicated to planet-focused solutions.
