Refund policy

All sales are final. To provide confidence and security in purchasing a new product for our customers, we do not offer returns or exchanges under any circumstances. This ensures that every product purchased has not been in hands other than the supplier or our team.

However, on a case-by-case basis, after consulting with Customer Service, we may choose to refund part or the full value of the product(s) purchased through our website if there is any issue with them.

Payment Policies

Mikokos accepts certain debit and credit cards and may choose to accept other forms of payment (such as Gift Cards or other options not specified in these Terms), bank transfers, bank deposits, convenience store deposits, and PayPal for payments of products purchased through the Service (each referred to as an "Accepted Payment Method"), subject to the procedures and rules contained in these Terms and any applicable contract with the provider of the Accepted Payment Method.

Accepted payment methods may vary. When you purchase a product and enter a payment method, you agree that:

  • (i) Any payment information you provide is true and accurate.
  • (ii) You are authorized to use the payment method provided.
  • (iii) We have permission to retain your information and payment method, including all debit and credit card details and other customer information provided by you and/or your issuing bank or the corresponding payment network.
  • (iv) We have irrevocable permission to share with financial institutions and payment processing companies (including institutions or companies we may work with in the future) information about your purchase and payment details to process your payment and grant such information. Signature(s) (and/or one of their respective financial service providers) the rights to collect, use, retain, and disclose such data and information.

Please note that your payment obligation and relationship with any third-party payment processor is a contractual matter between you and the third party; Mikokos is not a party to or responsible for that contract.

While we carefully select our payment processors and enter into detailed agreements that impose performance obligations (including confidentiality), we cannot guarantee or warrant their performance.

We encourage you to send us feedback regarding any payment processor we do business with, as we value and use your feedback to determine whether to continue or terminate those relationships.

Refunds

If you decide to cancel your order before it is shipped, we may issue a refund via gift card or the same payment method used for the purchase.

Depending on your payment method, a refund may take between 2 and 30 business days after the credit is applied to reflect in your account; these times are determined by financial institutions and are beyond the control of Mikokos.

PayPal

At Mikokos, we use PayPal as one of our payment methods. By choosing it as a payment method, you accept the PayPal Terms and Conditions. Any disputes or issues must be reported directly to the payment platform.

  • PayPal (Balance): The refund will be reflected in your PayPal balance on the same day of the refund.
  • PayPal (Credit Card): The refund may take up to 30 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution.
  • PayPal (Debit Card): The refund may take up to 30 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Considerations for PayPal-paid shipments:

If payment is made via PayPal, we only ship items to the address registered in your PayPal account. The address field in this form is used solely to estimate the shipping cost.

If an order paid through PayPal is sent to an incorrect address, Mikokos will assist in the redirection or recovery process. However, any loss due to an incorrect address will not be the responsibility of Mikokos but rather the account holder.

Shop Pay

At Mikokos, we use Shop Pay as one of our payment methods. By choosing it as a payment method, you accept the Shop Pay Terms and Conditions. Any disputes or issues must be reported directly to the payment platform.

Gift Cards

Occasionally, Mikokos may offer, either directly or through a third party, Gift Cards for sale that represent a certain cash value to be redeemed in the Service ("Gift Card"). Each of these Gift Cards may be subject to specific terms or conditions, in which case those terms and conditions will override anything in these Commercial Terms. Otherwise, the following provisions will apply (in addition to other Commercial Terms):

  1. No fees or expiration dates apply to Gift Cards.
  2. Certain Gift Cards that are not purchased are considered promotional codes and are subject to separate terms and conditions.
  3. Gift Cards can only be redeemed on the Mikokos website for the purchase of available products. They cannot be applied to any previously placed orders or redeemed for other gift cards.
  4. Gift Cards are non-transferable and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
  5. If you apply the balance of your Gift Card to pay for a product with a price lower than the balance on the Gift Card, the remaining balance will continue to be available on the Gift Card and can be used for a future order. If your Gift Card balance is insufficient to pay for the cost of any product, you must pay the difference with another accepted payment method. You can check your Gift Card balance by contacting us at hello@mikokos.com.
  6. To redeem a Gift Card, you must enter the Gift Card details during checkout.
  7. If you return any item purchased with a Gift Card, the amount paid with your Gift Card will be issued on a new Gift Card and will be eligible for use on a future order.
  8. Electronic Gift Cards will be emailed to the recipient once the payment has been processed, and physical Gift Cards will be shipped according to our Shipping Policy. A confirmation will also be sent to the purchaser.
  9. The delivery of an electronic Gift Card to an incorrect or non-existent email address provided by the purchaser is solely the purchaser's responsibility, and Mikokos is not obligated to replace or reissue the Gift Card. We are not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission.
  10. Sales tax and shipping charges apply to any item purchased with a Gift Card.
  11. We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or hold Gift Cards and orders for review if suspected of fraud, incorrect denomination issuance, or other policy violations.

Payment Validation

Mikokos is committed to shipping products once payment has been validated. This process can take up to 72 business hours from the time of payment. In some cases, additional information may be requested to validate the payment.

Payment Under Review (PayPal)

Payments made through PayPal or Credit/Debit Card may be subject to review by the payment platform. This process can take up to 72 business hours. The order will be shipped once the payment is released by PayPal.

If the payment is declined by PayPal, the order will be canceled, and the account will be deactivated. The customer must file a claim directly with PayPal to obtain a refund.

Fraud Prevention System

Fraud Alert System:

Occasionally, the fraud prevention system detects irregularities in a purchase. In such cases, a purchase confirmation may be requested from the email linked to the transaction. Additionally, Mikokos reserves the right to cancel or hold any suspicious purchase without providing any explanation.

Changes to Payment Methods and Account Information

You are responsible for ensuring that your customer information, including all payment details (address, debit or credit card number, and expiration date), is accurate and up to date.

You can update this information at any time (these changes do not affect completed orders) by:

  1. Logging into your account through the Mikokos website.
  2. Accessing the account page and making the changes.
  3. Contacting hello@mikokos.com.

If you have any difficulty making a change to your payment method, you must notify us by contacting hello@mikokos.com and providing satisfactory proof of your authority to change the payment method or address used for the Service.
